MFTHBA Affiliate serving the Southeastern United States
President: Kim Nichols

I gained exposure to the Foxtrotter breed about 6 years ago after a chance meeting with Jerri Frohnauer on a trail at Croft State
Park. On a number of visits to their farm, Jerri and Bob always pulled a horse from their barn for me to ride. Bob actually taught me
how to ride a gaited horse, including my spotted saddle horse. Two years ago Eugene bought me my very own foxtrotter and I
became interested in the show aspect as well as trail riding. Now that I have experienced the foxtrotter breed I can't imagine owning
anything else. I am excited to be a part of SEFTA and look forward to promoting the breed and showing others what our horses can
do.

Vice President: Tori Miller

Hello! For those of you who do not know me, my name is Tori Miller and I am the new Vice
President of the South Eastern Fox Trotter Association. Just to tell you a little bit about myself, I
was born, raised and currently attend college in Spartanburg, South Carolina. I am 21 years old
and I have been riding horses for fifteen years. For the first few years, I rode a "mutt" pony, but
when I finally outgrew him, I started riding quarter horses. Six years ago, I was introduced to
Missouri Fox Trotters. Since, all of our Quarter Horses have been sold and several Missouri Fox
Trotters have been purchased. During the past six years, my mother, Natalie, and I have bred,
raised, trail ridden and shown Missouri Fox Trotters. There is no other breed in the world quite like
the Missouri Fox Trotter!

During this next year, I hope to help increase the number of members in the SEFTA, along with
activities such as clinics, trail rides, breed demonstrations and horse shows. My goal is to have
activities that keep all of the members involved with one another, and most importantly, their
beloved Missouri Fox Trotter!

If you have any questions, comments, recommendations, etc. we would love to hear from you! My
email address is Tori.Miller@afltele.com and my number is (864)542-3042.
